Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah scored a direct free kick but it was not enough as Kayserispor lost 1-2 to Fernerbache.
Kayserispor got off to a terrible start. The hosts were a man down just 13 minutes into the game. Ozan Tufan was the player sent to have an early shower. They were able to hold on to a 0-0 draw in the first half.
In the second half, the hosts managed to get the first goal of the game. Bernard Mensah stood behind a direct free kick outside the box and managed to convert it spectacularly in the 57th minute.
The visitors took control after that and got a goal four minutes from time. Vedat Murigi scored from the spot to level matters. Two minutes later, the comeback was completed. Luiz Gustavo scored the final goal of the game to hand Fernerbache the win.
Mensah has scored four goals and provided eight assists this season. Kayserispor are currently bottom of the league after that result.
